The No. 6 ranked Kansas Jayhawks visit Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas on Saturday for a Big 12 matchup with the Texas Longhorns. Kansas improved its overall record to 13-3 and 3-1 in the Big 12 following it's 66-52 victory over Oklahoma on Tuesday. Isaiah Moss led the Jayhawks with 20 points. Devon Dotson did not play due to a hip injury. 

Devon Dotson leads Kansas in scoring and assists with averages of 18.0 points and 4.4 assists per game. Udoka Azubuike is the second leading scorer and leading rebounder for the Jayhawks with averages of 12.8 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. The Jayhawks have three players averaging double-figures in scoring.

The Texas Longhorns improved to 12-4 overall and 2-2 in the Big 12 following their 76-64 victory on Wednesday over the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Kamaka Hepa led the Longhorns with 15 points while Courtney Ramey scored 14 points, pulled down nine rebounds and handed out six assists.Texas has won two straight following a losing streak of two games to even its record in the Big 12 at 2-2.

Matt Coleman III is the leading scorer and leader in assists for Texas with averages of 12.1 points and 4.4 assists per game, while Courtney Ramey is the second leading scorer for the Longhorns with an average of 11.3 points per game. Jericho Sims is the leading rebounder for Texas with an average of 8.2 rebounds per game. 

Kansas has more talent than does Texas but will be playing on the road and may not have high scorer Devon Dotson who has an injured hip. The Longhorns have won 11 of their last 12 straight up on their home court, Kansas will find a way to win this meeting straight up but the Jayhawks have failed to cover 7 of their last 9 played during January.
