The Iowa State Cyclones visit Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas on Tuesday to play the Baylor Bears in a Big 12 tilt. The Cyclones upset the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday 77-60 to improve on the season to 12-2. Marial Shayok led the Cyclones with 24 points in the rout of then-ranked No. 2 Kansas. Iowa State has won five straight and is 2-0 in Big 12 play.
Baylor fell to 8-5 on the season following its 85-81 loss on the road to the TCU Horned Frogs. The Bears battled back from a second half deficit of 19 points but fell short at the end as TCU made its final free throws down the stretch. Tristan Clark led the Bears in the loss with 18 points while three other Baylor players scored in double figures.
