Iowa is heading to the game here with a decent 11-5 record on the season. However, the Hawkeyes are coming into the game here with a 2-3 record in the Big Ten on the year. The Hawkeyes last game was very impressive in the defensive side of the ball with a win over Maryland by a score of 67-49.

Luka Garza is the leader for the Iowa team with scoring with 22 points a game. The Hawkeyes as a team have been able to score at a clip of 79.6 points a game. The rebounding leader for the Iowa team is Garza as well with 10.8 boards a game out of the Hawkeyes 39.2 boards a game. As a defense the Hawkeyes have managed to get 69.4 points a game allowed.

Northwestern is the worst team in the Big Ten this year. However, the Wildcats are tied in last place with the Buckeyes with a 1-4 record. The overall record for the Wildcats has been able to be quite a bit worse than Ohio State by a 6-9 record.

Miller Kopp is the player who leads the Wildcats in scoring with 12.8 points a game. The Northwestern team as a whole is only getting 66.8 points per game. Ryan Young is the starting center for Northwestern with only 6.9 boards a game out of the Wildcats 34.8 boards a game. Northwestern does have a decent defense which is giving up 65.7 points per game.

Iowa is heading into the game here and coming off of a very impressive victory over Maryland. The Hawkeyes, though, really had a great defensive showing in the game and now should have a chance to improve even more in the game. The Hawkeyes defense should be looking great in the game here and that will definitely help the Hawkeyes out quite a bit in taking down Northwestern who cannot really do much against the crushing defense that Iowa brings to the court. Final Score Prediction, Iowa Hawkeyes win and cover ATS 70-55.
