Harvard vs Rice Picks and Prediction – 11/11/2023

The Harvard Crimson take an undefeated record on the road Friday night to Houston, TX against the Rice Owls. Harvard scored 78 points on 51.6% shooting in their opening night win. Thomas Battles II carried the Harvard offense with a team high 16 points and 31 minutes of action. Malick Mack Score 13 points and Justice Ajogbor chipped in 12 points and a team high 10 rebounds. Denham Wojcik scored 6 points and led the team with four assists in the game.

The Rice Owls remain at home Friday night undefeated after a 44 point blowout win in game one of the year. Defensively Rice controlled the game allowing just 57 points including only 25 in the first half on 36.8% shooting. Offensively the Rice Owls had a fantastic game scoring 101 points on nearly 54% shooting from the floor.

Sam Alajiki carried the load for Rice pouring in 17 points in 16 minutes of action. Noah Shelby added 14 points and Travis Evee added ten points as the fourth player in double figures. Max Fiedler proved to be the Most Valuable Player for Rice in game one leading the team with 11 rebounds and six assists to go along with 16 points overall.
