Georgetown vs Seton Hall 3/9/22 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

In the final game of a Wednesday Big East Tournament tripleheader, the Georgetown Hoyas will face the Seton Hall Pirates. The Hoyas (6-24) went winless in 18 conference games and are surrendering 77.7 points per contest. On Saturday, Georgetown was torched for 54 points during the first half of a 97-75 road loss against Xavier.

Georgetown G Dante Harris tallied a team-high 19 points on 8-for-14 from the field. Aminu Mohammed added 15 points and 16 rebounds in a losing effort for the Hoyas.

The Seton Hall Pirates finished three games above .500 in conference play and are one of the better rebounding (39.3 rpg) teams in the country. On Saturday, Seton Hall extended their winning streak to five with a 65-60 road victory against Creighton. The Pirates (20-9) nailed 7-for-17 from the three-point line and limited the Bluejays to 39 percent shooting.

Seton Hall F Jared Rhoden led all scorers with 19 points on 8-for-18 shooting and pulled down six boards. Alexis Yetna contributed 11 points and 11 rebounds off the bench for the Pirates.

Just a season ago, head coach Patrick Ewing led Georgetown to the Big East Conference Tournament Championship. This season, the Hoyas became the first team to finish conference play with an 0-19 record. Georgetown has battled hard all season long and I like them to cover the number here. Final Score Prediction, Seton Hall Pirates win 75-70.
