Florida State and Missouri both may have hoped for better things this year, but they meet in the first round of the West Regional, with Missouri the eighth seed and Florida State No. 9. Florida State is 20-11 and Missouri is 20-12.

Florida State lost to Louisville in the ACC tournament and the Seminoles are 3-3 against ranked teams. Florida State is 3-5 over the last eight games, but they have a win over Clemson in that stretch.

Missouri is a mysterious team heading into the tournament. They got heralded Michael Porter Jr back for the SEC tournament. He missed all but a couple minutes of the regular season, and the Tigers are different with him on the floor. But even without him, the Tigers won seven of the last 10 games, so the Tigers could be a darkhorse to make a run. Missouri may be without Jordan Barnett however. While they did win seven of the last 10, they are 2-3 over the last five.
Porter had 12 points and seven rebounds in the one game he played in the SEC tournament. Barnett is the team's second leading scorer with 13.7 points per game. Kassius Robertson is Missouri's leading scorer with 16.2 points per game. Robertson has made 99 three-pointers, and Barnett had 82.

For Florida State, Terance Mann, Phil Cofer and Braian Angola are all averaging around 13 points per game. Angola leads the team with 58 three-pointers. The Seminoles are shooting 47 percent overall and 35 from behind the arc.

This Missouri team is clearly the better team and think Tigers show it as Freshman superstar Michael Porter Jr dominates coming back from injury. The SEC has big comeback season and think Mizzou is one to show it off today. Final Score Prediction, Missouri Tigers win and cover ATS 76-69.
