Florida at LSU 2/20/19 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

The Pete Maravich Assembly Center will play host to a Wednesday night clash between the Florida Gators and LSU Tigers. The Gators have split their 12 SEC Conference games and rank 19th in the country in scoring defense. On Saturday, Florida leaned heavily on their defense during a 71-53 road triumph against Alabama. The Gators outrebounded the Crimson Tide by a 31-23 margin and shot 54 percent from the field.

Freshman sensation Andrew Nembhard converted all nine of his field goal attempts and led all scorers with 21 points. Keyontae Johnson contributed 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Gators. The 13th ranked LSU Tigers have won 11 of their 12 conference games and are currently tied with Tennessee for first place. On Saturday, LSU made the plays down the stretch of an 83-79 road victory against Georgia. The Tigers knocked down 18 of their 23 free-throw attempts and shot a blistering 56 percent from the field.

Sophomore G Tremont Waters tallied a game high 20 points on an 8-for-14 shooting performance, Naz Reid chipped in 13 points and six rebounds for the Tigers.
