The Florida A&M Rattlers are set to visit S-H-M Memorial Center in Orangeburg, South Carolina for a MEAC clash against the South Carolina State Bulldogs. The Florida A&M Rattlers come into this matchup with a 6-10 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent road game against the South Carolina State Bulldogs, 63-57. Leading the way for the Florida A&M Rattlers was freshman guard Jalen Spear as he recorded 20 points and 5 rebounds. Senior forward DJ Jones had a productive outing for the Rattlers as he pitched in 15 points and 7 rebounds.

The Florida A&M Rattlers struggled shooting the ball against the South Carolina State Bulldogs as they connected on 20 of their 53 field goal attempts (37.7%), and they were slightly worse from behind the three-point line (33.3%). The Florida A&M Rattlers lost the turnover battle against the South Carolina State Bulldogs (22-18), but they dominated the Bulldogs in the rebounding department (39-23).

The South Carolina State Bulldogs come into this matchup with a 1-16 record, and they will be looking to continue their success after winning their recent home game against the Florida A&M Rattlers, 63-57. Leading the way for the South Carolina State Bulldogs was freshman guard Floyd Rideau Jr. as he recorded 15 points off the bench. Sophomore forward Omar Croskey had a productive outing for the Bulldogs as he pitched in 13 points and 3 rebounds.

The South Carolina State Bulldogs had a good shooting game against the Florida A&M Rattlers as they connected on 23 of their 49 field goal attempts (46.9%), but they struggled from behind the three-point line (29.4%). The South Carolina State Bulldogs won the turnover battle against the Florida A&M Rattlers (22-18), but they were dominated by the Rattlers in the rebounding department (39-23).

The South Carolina State Bulldogs are one of the worst teams in college basketball as they were 0-16 entering the first matchup between these two teams, and I expect the Florida A&M Rattlers to be much sharper on the offensive side of the court and win this game soundly. The Rattlers have been really good on the defensive side of the court in MEAC play as they are holding their opponents to an average of 62 PPG, but the same can’t be said about the Bulldogs who are allowing an average of 78.3 PPG. The Rattlers have one of the better guards in the conference this season as MJ Randolph is averaging 16 PPG, 6.6 RPG, and 4.7 APG, and I expect him to have a much better game after only scoring 4 points in the first meeting. Final Score Prediction, Florida A&M Rattlers win and cover ATS 75-63.
