The Evansville Purple Aces travel to Des Moines, IA on Sunday for a game against the Drake Bulldogs in a matchup of teams from the Missouri Valley Conference.  In their last game, Evansville was defeated by Loyola Chicago by the score of 73-66.  K.J. Riley led the Purple Aces in scoring on the night with 28 points while shooting 8 of 13 from the field and 12 of 15 from the free throw line.  Riley also led Evansville in assists with 6, while playing a total of 38 minutes in the game against Loyola Chicago.  Cameron Krutwig was the leading rebounder in the game for Evansville as he pulled in 8 boards, including 4 coming offensively.

After the loss to Loyola Chicago, Evansville fell to 9-17 on the season and 0-13 in conference play which places them in 10th place in the Missouri Valley Conference.  K.J. Riley has led the Purple Aces in scoring this season with an average of 12.8 points per game while shooting 48.1% from the field and 80.9% from the free throw line.  Riley is also the leading rebounder on the year for Evansville as he has averaged 3.9 rebounds per game.  Riley is also the leader in assists for the Purple Aces as he has averaged 2.7 per game.

The Drake Bulldogs welcome the Evansville Purple Aces to town on Sunday after losing their last game to Missouri State by the score of 97-62.  Noah Thomas led the Bulldogs in scoring with 14 points while shooting 6 of 10 from the field.  Thomas also led Drake in assists on the night with 4, while playing a total of 25 minutes against Missouri State.  Liam Robbins was the leading rebounder in the game for the Bulldogs as he pulled in 5 rebounds, with 6 coming on the offensive boards.

With the loss to Missouri State, Drake is now 16-10 on the year and 6-7 in conference play, placing them in 6th place in the Missouri Valley Conference.  Liam Robbins has been the most productive offensive player on the year for Drake as he has averaged a team leading 13.7 points per game, while shooting 50.4% from the field and 69.2% from the free throw line.  Robbins also leads the Bulldogs in rebounding this season with an averaged of 6.5 rebounds per game.  Roman Penn leads Drake in assists this season with an average of 5.8 per game.

The Evansville Purple Aces have scored an average of 68.3 points per game this season while allowing 74.5 points per game.  The Drake Bulldogs have scored 70.1 points per game on the year while allowing 67.7 points per game.  In their last 5 games, the Purple Aces are 0-5 and are currently on a 13 games losing streak, while the Bulldogs are 1-4 and have lost 2 games in a row.  In the first game of the season between these two teams, Drake came away with the win by the score of 73-50.  It would be hard for me not to go with Drake in this one due to the fact they have better numbers than Evansville in points per game, points allowed per game, field goal percentage, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals, not to mention the fact that the Bulldogs dominated the Purple Aces on their home court earlier this season.  Final Score Prediction, Drake Bulldogs win and cover ATS 75-54.
