The David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex in Hempstead, NY will welcome the Delaware Blue Hens Saturday afternoon to take on the Hofstra Pride. Delaware continues a long road trip Saturday afternoon 11-5 on the year riding a two game win streak following a four point win against Drexel to open the new year. Offensively Delaware dominated Drexel making 52.6% of their shots to score 81 total points in the win including 45 in the first half.

Jameer Nelson Jr. led the way for the Delaware starters with twenty points on 5 of 13 shooting in 33 minutes of action, while Dillon Painter chipped in 14 points and nine rebounds. Ryan Allen led all Delaware scorers against Drexel with 23 points on 10 of 18 shooting in 28 minutes off the bench.

The Hofstra Pride come into Saturday up and down this season two games above .500 with a 9-7 record overall following a 12 point road loss to Towson. Defensively Hofstra struggled against Towson as the Tigers made 27 of 58 shots from the floor and 47.1% from beyond the arc to score 78 points leading to the victory.

The Hofstra offense played well despite the lack of defense scoring 66 points on 41% shooting as a team. Aaron Estrada was the motor within the Hofstra offense scoring 24 points in 40 minutes and Omar Silverio added 14 points and six rebounds as well.
