Dayton at North Carolina State 11/24/22 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

The Dayton Flyers continue a road trip Thursday afternoon in the Bahamas with a game I guess the North Carolina State Wolfpack. Dayton comes into Thursday with three wins in their first five games played after a one point loss to Wisconsin on Wednesday. Defensively Dayton shined holding Wisconsin to 23.7% shooting and 22.2% from beyond the arc but gave up 43 total points leading to the loss. Offensively Dayton had their worst game of the season scoring only 42 points on 30.2% shooting and turn the ball over 17 times as a team.

DaRon Holmes II leads the way for the Dayton offense this season averaging 13.2 points on 54.3% shooting from the floor. Mustafa Amzil is second on the team scoring 12.3 points and Kobe Ellis chips in a third best 11.3 points and a team high 3.2 assists. Toumani Camara Is averaging 7.3 points to go along with a team high 12.2 rebounds per game.

The North Carolina State Wolfpack come into Wednesday following their first loss of the year to the Kansas Jayhawks. Offensively North Carolina State had one of their worst games of the season despite scoring 74 points the Wolfpack shot only 38.7% from the floor and turned the ball over 13 times in the loss. Defensively North Carolina State struggled immensely as Kansas poured an 80 points including 41 in the second half on nearly 42% shooting from the floor.

Terquavion Smith leads the way from the North Carolina State offense averaging 19 points on 47.4% shooting to go along with a team high 5.2 assists per game. Jarkel Joiner chips in a second by 17 points and Casey Morsell scoring a third best 14.8 points as well. Dusan Mahorcic lead the team with 7.5 rebounds per game to go along with 9.5 points.
