Davidson at UMASS 1/24/21 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

In Sunday afternoon college basketball action, the Davidson Wildcats will travel to the Mullins Memorial Center to face the UMass Minutemen. The Wildcats (9-5) have won three straight and are off to a 5-2 start in Atlantic 10 Conference play. On Wednesday, Davidson assisted on 16 of their 25 made field goals and shot 49 percent during a 73-58 home victory versus Fordham.

Davidson G Kellan Grady connected on 7-for-9 from the three-point line and finished with a game-high 24 points. Luka Brajkovic added eight points and eight rebounds for the Wildcats.

The UMass Minutemen have won four of their first five conference games and rank 24th in the nation in scoring (82.8 ppg). On Sunday, UMass outscored Fordham by 29 points during the first half and cruised to a 65-46 road victory. The Minutemen (5-3) led by as many points and won easily despite shooting just 34 percent from the field.

UMass Center Tre Mitchell led all scorers with 24 points on 7-for-18 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds. T.J. Weeks contributed 11 points in 17 minutes off the bench for the Minutemen.
