On New Year’s night, the CSU Fullerton Titans visit Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle, Washington to play the Washington Huskies. The Titans improved to 4-9 on the season following a 79-64 win over Portland on Saturday. CSU Fullerton was led by Kyle Allman Jr. with 26 points, with 18 coming from six 3-pointers. Khalil Ahmad chipped in with 21 for the Titans.
Washington improved to 8-4 following a 57-41 win on Friday over Sacramento State. The Huskies were led by Matisse Thybulle and Noah Dickerson with 12 points apiece, while Nahziah Carter came off the bench to score 11. Washington played poorly in the first half trailing by three at the break, but outscored the Hornets in the second half 38-19.
Kyle Allman Jr. leads the Titans in scoring with an average of 18.8 points per game. Jackson Rowe is the team leader in rebounds with an average of 6.9 per game. Austen Awosika leads CSU Fullerton in assists with an average of 3.8 per game. The Titans are shooting 45.6% from the field and 31.8% from 3-point territory.
Jaylen Nowell leads Washington in scoring and is second in assists with averages of 16.8 points and 2.9 assists per game. Noah Dickerson is the second leading scorer and leader in rebounds with averages of 15.3 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. David Crisp leads in assists with an average of 3.1 per game. Washington is shooting 44.2% from the field and 30.7% from 3-point territory.
