The CSU Fullerton Titans visit Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska on Saturday to play the No. 25 ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers. The Titans fell to 3-8 on the season following a 68-54 loss to San Francisco. Fullerton trailed by 20 points at the half and never cut the lead to less than double-digits the final 20 minutes. Kyle Allman led the Titans with 14 points.
Nebraska moved to 9-2 on the season with a 79-56 win over Oklahoma State. The Cornhuskers were led by 29 points from James Palmer Jr and pulled away during the second half to win easily by 23 points. The win was Nebraska’s second straight since losing its second game of the season.
Khalil Allman Jr. leads the Titans in scoring with an average of 18.3 points per game. Jackson Rowe is the team leader in rebounds with an average of 6.7 per game. Austen Awosika leads CSU Fullerton in assists with an average of 3.7 per game. The Titans are shooting 46.5% from the field and 31.8% from 3-point territory.
James Palmer Jr. leads Nebraska in scoring with an average of 19.6 points per game. Two other Cornhuskers are scoring in double figures. Isaac Copeland Jr. leads in rebounding with an average of 6.0 per game. Glynn Watson Jr. is the assists leader with an average of 3.5 per game. The Cornhuskers are shooting 48.1% from the field and 36.1% from 3-point territory.
