On Monday, the Creighton Bluejays visit Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island to play the Providence Friars. The Bluejays moved to 9-4 on the season following an 89-53 rout over UMKC on Thursday. Ty-Shon Alexander led Creighton in the win with 19 points. The game with Providence begins Creighton’s Big East conference play.
Providence improved to 10-3 with its third straight won last Saturday after defeating Texas on the road 71-65. Alpha Diallo led the Friars with 20 points in a big non-conference victory for Providence. The Friars have had over a week to prepare for their opening Big East game at home against Creighton with 9 days off between games.
