With the victory, the Catamounts snapped a seven-game losing streak and won for the first time in the Southern conference this season.

Matt Halvorsen is the second-leading scorer with an average of 13.6 points per game and one of four players for Western Carolina averaging double figures in scoring. The Catamounts are shooting 45.4% overall and 33.2% from three-point territory.
