The Central Michigan Chippewas are set to visit Worthen Arena in Muncie, Indiana for a MAC clash against the Ball State Cardinals. The Central Michigan Chippewas come into this matchup with a 13-16 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent road game against the Eastern Michigan Eagles, 67-63. Leading the way for the Central Michigan Chippewas was senior guard Dallas Morgan as he recorded 16 points and 3 assists. Senior forward David DiLeo had a productive outing for the Chippewas as he pitched in 14 points.

The Central Michigan Chippewas struggled shooting the ball against the Eastern Michigan Eagles as they connected on 23 of their 57 field goal attempts (40.4%), and they were slightly worse from behind the three-point line (31.8%). The Central Michigan Chippewas lost the turnover battle against the Eastern Michigan Eagles (18-15), but they edged out the Eagles in the rebounding department (39-35).

The Ball State Cardinals come into this matchup with a 16-13 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent road game against the Toledo Rockets, 69-63. Leading the way for the Ball State Cardinals was freshman guard Jarron Coleman as he recorded 18 points and 6 rebounds. Joining Coleman in the backcourt was junior guard Ishmael El-Amin who had a productive outing for the Cardinals with 10 points.

The Ball State Cardinals struggled shooting the ball against the Toledo Rockets as they connected on 24 of their 61 field goal attempts (39.3%), and they were significantly worse from behind the three-point line (20.7%). The Ball State Cardinals won the turnover battle against the Toledo Rockets (11-10), but they were edged out by the Rockets in the rebounding department (40-35).

The Central Michigan Chippewas have been in rare form as of recent as they have dropped 8 consecutive games which has them sitting at 6-10 in MAC play, and they will now be tasked with traveling to a solid Ball State team. The Ball State Cardinals are one of the best defensive teams in the country as they are averaging 62.6 PPG, but the same can’t be said about Central Michigan as they rank 323rd in points allowed (76.3 PPG). The Cardinals have one of the best forwards in the conference as Tahjai Teague is averaging 14.7 PPG, 9.9 RPG, and 1.8 BPG, and he should be able to expose the interior of the Central Michigan defense. Kevin McKay has been in and out of the lineup for the Chippewas and his presence is big as he is averaging 12.2 PPG and 7 RPG, but Ball State has been amazing at home with a 10-4 record and they should win this game without much of a problem. Final Score Prediction, Ball State Cardinals win and cover ATS 73-60.
