California at Washington State 1/15/22 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

The Washington State Cougars will welcome the California Golden Bears to Friel Court at Beasley Coliseum for a PAC 12 matchup Saturday afternoon. California comes into this game struggling as of late riding a three game losing streak following a nine point road loss to Washington last game out. Offensively California played well against Washington making 50% of their shots from the floor but turned the ball over 17 times leading to the loss. Jordan Shepherd led all scorers for California with 12 points on four of seven shooting in 37 minutes on the floor. 

Andre Kelly leads the California offense posting a team high 14.4 points per game to go along with eight point 4 rebounds. Jordan Shepherd is second on the team in scoring with 14.2 points and Grant Anticevich is third on the team with 11.6 points per game as the only other Golden Bear averaging double figures. 

The Washington State Cougars will be back at home Saturday afternoon following a five point loss to Stanford dropping the team to 9-7 this season. Offensively Washington state was abysmal against Stanford as the Cougars shot 40.4% from the floor and 26.9% from beyond the arc to score only 57 points in the game.

Mouhamed Gueye was the only bright spot in the Washington State line up posting a team high 16 points and 11 rebounds on 8 of 13 shooting in 29 minutes on the floor. Michael Flowers added twelve points in 34 minutes and Tyrell Roberts chipped in a team high 10 points off the bench.
