The Matadors would like to say that sitting 1.5 games back from the Anteaters is a good thing. However, the Matadors have ended up getting a 2-2 record in the Big West, but when it comes to their overall record the Matadors are sitting on a 7-13 record. The last game for the Matadors was a 66-62 loss to the Anteaters.

A major problem that the Matadors have is a horrible defense that is giving up 79.4 points a game. The offense for the Matadors has done decent as well, but not overly great scoring only 74.5 points per game. The rebounding for the Northridge team is sitting at 33.5 boards a game, but the passing offense has ended up getting only 14 assist a game.

This year the Gauchos have ended up getting a 12-6 overall record on the year. The Gauchos when it comes to the conference have ended up landing a 1-2 record and have not really looked overly comfortable. The UC Santa Barbara team has a 70-63 loss to Hawaii in their last game.

Offensively the Gauchos have not been overly good, but not horrible either with 71.9 points a game being scored. The UC Santa Barbara have allowed only 65.8 points a game on the season. When it comes to rebounding the Gauchos have not looked overly bad with 35.4 boards a game, but the passing attack still needs to pick up their play some with only 13.3 assist a game.
