Cal Poly at Saint Mary's 11/17/19 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

The Cal Poly Mustangs visit McKeon Pavilion in Moraga, California on Sunday to play the No. 18 ranked Saint Mary’s Gaels. Cal Poly won its first game and improved to 1-2 following an 89-45 rout over Simpson, a member of the NAIA. Kyle Colvin led the Mustangs with 15 points and seven boards while Keith Smith scored 11 points and handed out six assists.

Junior Ballard leads the Mustangs in scoring with an average of 14.3 points per game. Kyle Colvin is the third leading scorer and leader in rebounds with averages of 10.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Keith Smith is the Mustangs leader in assists with an average of 3.7 per game. Just three players for the Mustangs are averaging double figures in scoring.

Saint Mary’s is 2-1 on the season following tis 81-63 victory on Thursday over Long Beach State. The Gaels were led in scoring by Tommy Kuhse with 20 points and eight assists. The Gaels were coming off a loss in their home opener on Monday to Winthrop and used this game to bounced back and get on track once again.

Jordan Ford leads St. Mary’s in scoring with an average of 19.3 points per game. Malik Fitts is second in scoring and the leader in rebounding with averages of 13.3 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Tommy Kuhse leads the Gaels in assists with an average of 4.0 per game.
