The No. 24 ranked Butler Bulldogs play the Providence Friars on Thursday in the second round of the Big East tournament at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. Butler finished the regular season with an overall record of 22-9 and 10-8 in the Big East following a 72-71 victory over the Xavier Musketeers on Saturday. Kamar Baldwin was the leading scorer with 36 points for the Bulldogs.

Luwane Pipkins is the third leading scorer with an average of 10.8 points per game.
