The Boston College Eagles will play their third game of the ACC tournament Thursday afternoon at the Barclays Center against the Miami Hurricanes. Boston College comes into Thursday riding a two game tournament win streak following a five point overtime victory over Wake Forest on Wednesday. Offensively Boston College controlled the game making 50% of their shots and 42.9% from beyond the arc score 82 points in the game including twelve points in the overtime.
DeMarr Langford Jr. led the way for Boston College with 19 points in 38 minutes on the floor. Quinton Post added a second best 17 points and Brevin Galloway scored 11 points to lead the way for the Boston College reserves.
The Miami Hurricanes come into the conference tournament riding a two game winning streak after closing the season with a 3 point win over Syracuse. Offensively Miami was dominant against Syracuse making 51.8% of their shots to score 75 points including 49 in the second half to erase in 11 point halftime deficit
Offensively this season Miami has three players averaging double figures as Kameron McGusty leads the team scoring 17.5 points per game on 47.4% shooting. Isaiah Wong is second on the team scoring 15.5 points and Jordan Miller chips in 9.8 points in a team high six rebounds per game.
