The Binghamton Bearcats visit Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine on Sunday to play the Maine Black Bears. Binghamton fell to 12-6 overall and 2-1 in the America East Conference following a 72-53 loss to Vermont. The Bearcats fell behind by 21 points at the half and could not mount a rally during the second half. 

Sam Sessoms leads Binghamton in scoring with an average of 17.6 points per game and is the leader in assists with an average of 4.2 per game. George Tinsley is the third leading scorer and leading rebounder which averages of 10.6 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.

Maine improved to 5-13 overall and 1-3 in the American East Conference following its 104-98 overtime victory against UMass Lowell. Sergio El Darwich led the Black Bears with 36 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds. The overtime victory by Maine snapped a three-game losing streak for the Black Bears.

Andrew Fleming is the leading scorer and rebounder for Maine with averages of 15.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. Sergio El Darwich is the second-leading scorer and leader in assists with averages of 13.1 points and 4.0 assists per game. Maine has just two players averaging in double-figures in scoring.

Binghamton has lost each of its last two straight up and ATS, but is having a much stronger season than is Maine.
