The Boston College Eagles visit KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky on Wednesday to play the Louisville Cardinals. The Eagles fell to 9-6 on the season following a 100-95 loss in overtime to the Providence Friars. Boston College was led in the loss by Jordan Chatman with 28 points, while Wynston Tabbs and Ky Bowman each scored 17 points. The Eagles four-game winning streak was snapped in the loss.
Louisville improved to 11-5 on Saturday with an 82-62 rout of North Carolina. The Cardinals led by nine points at the half and gradually pulled away during the second half to win by 21 points. The loss was North Carolina’s worst at home since Roy Williams took over as head coach 16 seasons ago. Steven Enoch led the Cardinals with 17 points in the win.
Ky Bowman leads the Eagles in scoring and assists with averages of 20.3 points and 3.4 assists per game. Steffon Mitchell leads BC in rebounding with an average of 8.5 per game. Four players average double figures in scoring for the Eagles. Boston College is shooting 44.1% from the field and 30.3% from 3-point territory.
