On Sunday, the Miami Hurricanes play in the second round of the NCAA Tournament’s Midwest Region against the Auburn Tigers at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. Miami defeated the USC Trojans on Friday 68-66. The leading scorer for Miami was Isaiah Wong with 22 points. Miami shot 42.9% overall but was an atrocious 1-for-14 (7.1%) from three-point territory. The Hurricanes led by 11 points at halftime and were able to hold off USC down the stretch.

The No. 2 seeded Auburn Tigers reached the second round of the Midwest Region of the NCAA tournament after defeating Jacksonville State 80-61 on Friday. Jabari Smith was the leading scorer for Auburn with 20 points. The Tigers shot 44.4% overall and 37.5% from three-point territory while holding Jacksonville State to 31.1% shooting overall and 32.0% shooting from three-point territory. Auburn committed only 11 turnovers and was very strong on the offensive glass collecting 19 offensive rebounds.
