Clune Arena will host a non conference matchup Saturday afternoon between the Army Black Knights and the Air Force Falcons. Army limps into Saturday 4-3 on the year after dropping two of their last three games played including a 16 point loss to Siena last came out. Offensively Army struggled making only 40% of their shots from the floor and 23.1% from beyond the arc, while turning the ball over 14 times to score only 67 points in the game.

The Army Offense has been mediocre at best thus far this season converting on 43.7% of their shots to score 69.9 points per game. Jalen Rucker Leads the team with 16.6 points per game on 41% shooting. Josh Caldwell chips in a second best 14.3 points, while Charlie Peterson adds 10.9 points in a team high 7 rebounds.

Air forces played great through the first seven games of the season riding a six game win streak after losing the opening game of the season. The Air Force defense carried the team to their six one of the season against Idaho State after holding the Bengals 229.3% shooting in the game.

The Air Force offense played well against Idaho State converting on 2444 shots to score 59 points in 40 minutes. AJ Walker led the team with 19 points on eight of 10 shooting in 38 minutes. Joseph Octave Chipped in 14 points as the only other Falcon in double figures in 26 minutes of action.

Army has the better offense in this game but the Air Force has a far better defense that will be the difference. Look for the Falcons to control the clock and the ball in route to their 7th win of the year. Army has struggled and will continue to struggle Saturday against a good Air Force team.
