The Arizona Wildcats visit Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles, California on Saturday to play the UCLA Bruins. Arizona fell to 14-6 on the season following its 80-57 loss on the road to USC. The Wildcats scored just 19 points in the first half. Ira Lee and Brandon Randolph led Arizona in the loss with 12 points each. Arizona made just 5 of its 25 shots from 3-point territory.
UCLA fell to 10-9 on the season following its 84-73 loss to Arizona State. The Bruins played well for the first half leading at the break 44-43, but were outscored after the break by 12 points. The loss was UCLA’s third straight and seventh in its last 10. The Bruins missed several shots and turned the ball over too many times over the final six minutes of the game.
Brandon Randolph leads the Wildcats in scoring with an average of 15.2 points per game. Brandon Williams is the leader in assists with an average of 3.7 assists per game. Chase Jeter leads all rebounders with an average of 7.2 per game, and is the second leading scorer with an average of 12.6 points per game. Arizona is shooting 43.8% from the field and 33.7% from 3-point territory.
Kris Wilkes leads the Bruins in scoring with an average of 16.9 points per game. Freshman Moses Brown is third in scoring and is first in rebounding with averages of 11.1 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. The leader in assists is Jaylen Hands with an average of 6.3 per game. UCLA is shooting 45.4% from the field and 33.1% from 3-point territory.
