The Crimson Tide improved to 11-5 on the season following its 70-60 win over Missouri on Saturday. Alabama was led by Avery Johnson Jr. the son of coach Avery Johnson with 14 points.
Tennessee improved to 15-1 on the season following its 106-87 rout of Arkansas on Tuesday. The Volunteers were led by Lamonte’ Turner and Jordan Bowden as the two reserves scored a combined 40 points. Tennessee is atop the SEC standing at 4-0 with South Carolina while LSU is a half game back at 3-0.
Kira Lewis Jr. leads the Crimson Tide in scoring with an average of 14.4 points per game. Donta Hall is the leading rebounder with an average of 8.8 rebounds per game. Lewis Jr. leads in assists with an average of 2.8 per game. Alabama is shooting 45.2% from the field and 34.5% from 3-point territory.
Grant Williams leads Tennessee in scoring and rebounding with averages of 18.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. Admiral Schofield is second on the Volunteers in scoring with an average of 17.7 points per game. Jordan Bone leads the team in assists with an average of 6.3 per game.
