Race 1 is a 4 1/2 furlong race on dirt with a 8,300 dollar purse and a 4,000 dollar claiming. Trevilion is the favorite at 2/1 odds. However, Side Car the 5 year old has looked impressive in the past with 4 career wins. Not to mention the last workout was a 4 furlong finish in 51 flat and was 10/18. Race 1 Pick: Side Car at 3/1.

Masquerade Ball, though, is coming in with 3 starts in 2022 and no finishes in the top 3, but still is one horse that could finish in the top three with Paul Drake and Skidstream. Race 2 Pick: Wheeled Trifecta with Masquerade Ball, Skidstream and Paul Drake.

Race 3 is posted to start at 7:50 PM and has a 4 1/2 furlong race with a purse of 8,300 and a claiming of 4,000. A total of 6 horses are entered for race 3. Sworn Silence is heading in as the favorite at 2/1 odds so far. World Is My City is a strong favorite as well with 8 career first place finishes and a very nice workout on a 4 furlong course in 48 flat and finished 1/18. Race 3 Pick: World Is My City 4/1.

Race 4 posts at 8:15 PM and has a 21,200 purse and is 4 1/2 furlongs and has 7 horses in the race. The favorite is Stunning Munnings with 5/2 odds. The entire race is very packed at the top and not a single horse has a 10/1 odds. Look more towards a trifecta on a wheel in this race here. Race 4 Pick: Trifecta wheeled with Cajun Delight, Stunning Munnings, and Mrs. Robinson.

Race 5 post at 8:40 PM and is 4 1/2 furlongs with a 7,800 dollar purse and a claiming of 4,00 with 7 horses involved in the race. Treasured Nikki is favored in this race at 2/1 odds. Race 6 has a post time of 9:05 PM  and is a longer 6 furlong race with a purse of 14,200 and a claiming of 10,000. The race does have 6 horses in the post. The favorite is Escape Velocity coming to the race at 2/1 odds. Out for Justice, though, is a close second favorite at 3/1 odds and with 2 first place finishes this year already could be favorited rather easily. Race 6 Pick: Out For Justice 3/1 odds.

Race 7 is another 6 furlong race that has a 9:30 PM post time and a purse of 23,800. The one horse that is favorited is I’m Money at 5/2 odds. Still Falcons Fury has looked impressive and at 7/2 odds could easily be a favorite to win along with Donnels Creek with 9/5 odds. Race 7 Pick: Wheeled Trifecta with I’m Money, Donnels Creek, and Falcons Fury.

Race 8 is the final race at Mountaineer and has a post time of 9:55 and is a 4 1/2 furlong. The purse for the 7 horse field is 18,800. In this race their are a lot of underdogs running in the race here with 3 horses with odds under 10/1.  Baltic Fleet is one of the favorites in the race at 2/1 odds and is a serious contender in the race and should win rather easily based off of past runs for Baltic Fleet. Race 8 Winner Pick: Baltic Fleet.
