Gulfstream Park Preview 4/21/22 - Horse Racing Picks & Predictions

On Thursday 4/21/22 Gulfstream Park is going to have 8 races being run on a variety of tracks. The first race is slated to kick off at 1:05 PM.

Race 1 is starting at the 1:05 PM time and is being run on turf and is 1 1/16M with a 26,000 dollar purse. Prefect is the 2/1 favorite in this race. Hail to the Chief is coming in at 3/1 odds and in his last workout was a 4/10 and should be impressive in this race as well. Race 1 Winner Prediction: Hail To The Chief 3/1.

Race 2 is a special weight dirt track race that is 4 1/2 furlong and starts at 1:37 with a purse of 55,000. Krazykatkousin is the favorite at 2/1 odds. Olga is coming in after finishing 11/25 in the last workout in a 4 furlong run, but still look for Olga to run better in this race here. Race 2 Winner Prediction: Olga 5/1.

Race 3 is a 7 furlong race on dirt with a 43,000 dollar purse that starts at 2:11 PM. The favorite in this race is Vive Bien. Vive Bien should be the winner in this race as well, but it depends on the distance training, but still in 2 races in the career the worst finish is second. Race 3 Winner Prediction: Wheeled Trifecta Vive Bien, Klugman, Tiger.

Race 4 takes place on the All Weather Track and is a 1M 70Y race with a 34,000 dollar purse. The favorite is Winter Princess, but even then the race will be highly contested. Look for Alpha Babe, though to rely on Junior Alvarado to help guide the horse to a win here. Race 4 Winner Prediction, Alpha Babe 7/2.

Race 5 takes place on the turf track and is a 1 M with a 51,000 dollar purse. The favorite in the race is Lady Puchi. Omixochitl is one race to look at in this race as Paco Lopez has been really good, but the horse itself has 5 starts with 2 first and 1 second place finish. Race 5 Winner Prediction, Omixochitl 9/2.

Race 6 has a small purse at 17,000 with it being a 6 1/2 furlong on dirt at 3:43 PM. The favorite is another Paco Lopez ridden horse in Flipping Fish at 7/2 odds. Still, Wicked Temptations has looked impressive and should do enough to secure the win in this race here. Race 6 Winner: Wicked Temptations 5/1.

Race 7 starts are 4:17 PM and has a 51,000 dollar purse on the 1M dirt run. Green Up is coming in as the favorite at 4/5 odds. The race should end up as a wheeled trifecta for the results and picks. Race 7 Pick: Wheeled Trifecta with Green Up, Surreal Fantasy, and Easy Come Easy Go.

Race 8 is a 5 furlong run on turf with a 51,000 dollar purse. The race has Kodama from Ireland as the favorite at 3/1. Just like in race 7 look more for a trifecta type of result in this race here. Race 8 Pick: Wheeled Trifecta Kodama, The Club, Baby’s Dialed In.
