Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf 11/03/23 - Horse Racing Picks & Predictions
On November 3-4 Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California will host the 40th annual Breeders’ Cup World Championships. Be prepared for all the Breeders Cup action with our horse racing picks. The juvenile Fillies Turf is for 2-year-old females and is one mile in length with a purse of $1 million. The current favorites for this one mile race include She Feels Pretty at 4 to 1, Porta Fortuna at 5 to 1 and two others that are currently 6 to 1.
She Feels Pretty will be ridden by John Velazquez and is trained by Charlie De Vaux. In only the second start of her career she scored a victory on September 16th at Woodbine even after being bumped at the start. Prior to the victory in September, she was victorious in her maiden special weight debut after falling behind early but quickly catching up to win the five-furlong event.
Porta Fortuna has the second best odds at 5 to 1 and must be taken into consideration on Friday. The Ireland based filly was victorious in each of her first three races, winning after falling behind early and rallying or taking a lead from the start and not being overtaken. Even with a step up in class for her second race Porta Fortuna was victorious.
While She Feel Pretty is highly talented and has had success early in her career, Friday will be Porta Fortuna’s day as the Ireland-based filly will outclass the field with speed and endurance that in the end will send her to the winner’s circle with a victory of more than two lengths.
