Rombauer is coming in heavily favored in the race here and after his recent win at the Preakness it is easy to see why Rombauer would be favored. However, a key thing is Rombauer had to come running from the back and that definitely took quite a bit out of the horse and showed that he could catch up, but will struggle in this race.
Essential Quality is coming in as the favorite, but will definitely be challenged in the race here. Now, one thing that Essential Quality does have going for him is the fact that out of past 10 Tapit colts that have run here 7 of them have finished in the top 3 with 3 of them winning the race, but for Essential Quality a win is a stretch.
