2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions 1/7/21 - PGA Picks, Odds and Betting Predictions

Last Updated: 01/04/2021 at 10:16 AM ET

Following a short break for the holidays, the PGA Tour returns this week with the Sentry Tournament of Champions at the Plantation Course at Kapalua. Each of the winners on the PGA tour from last season's Sentry Tournament of Champions through the Mayakoba Classic all qualify for this event. Notable golfers teeing up this Thursday include Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, Bryson DeChambeau, John Rahm and Collin Morikawa.

Because the coronavirus pandemic disrupted the PGA schedule from last season, also joining the winners are all those who qualified for the Tour Championship. Included in that list are Xander Schauffele, Tony Finau, Hideki Matsuyama and Scott Scheffler. Justin Thomas returns as the defending champion, while Xander Schauffele was the winner in 2019 and Dustin Johnson in 2018.

Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw designed the Plantation Course at Kapalua in 1991 and it has been the host since 1999 of the Tournament of Champions. The course is characterized by its wide fairways, changes in elevation, prevailing winds and breathtaking views that overlook Molokai Island and Honokahua Bay. Long hitters enjoy this course as the fairways are so wide and the ball rolls forever.

Reed has performed well at this event with four finishes in the top six including winning the Sentry Tournament of Champions in 2015. Final Pick, Patrick Reed +1800
