Last Updated: 07/07/2020 at 5:05 PM ET

This week the PGA Tour heads to Muirfield Village Golf Club for the first of two consecutive tournaments when players tee off on Thursday at the Workday Charity Open. This is the first year for the event which will be followed by the prestigious Memorial Invitational Tournament at the same course next week that Jack Nicklaus will host.

This week's tournament features 12 players ranked in the top 25 in the world golf rankings. The top-ranked player in the field is Jon Rahm at No. 2, while Justin Thomas (No. 4), Brooks Koepka (No. 4) and Patrick Reed (No. 7) will all participate. Others in the world's top 25 ready to tee off in Thursday's opening round include Patrick Cantlay, Xander Schauffele, Justin Rose, Gary Woodland, Matt Kuchar, Louis Oosthiuzen, Sungjae Im and Shane Lowry.

As has been the case since the PGA Tour restarted following the covid virus outbreak,  no spectators will be allowed to enter the course. The weather could come into play this week as forecasts are for temperatures in the 90s and a very good chance of rain on Friday. The field will have 156 players and the course will play 7,456 yards and par 72.
