2020 Travelers Championship - Golf Odds, Picks & Betting Predictions

On July 25th, the 2020 Travelers Championship will tee off from TPC River Highlands with the strongest field of players ever to take part in the prestigious event.  The field will include nine of the top 10 players currently in the world golf rankings. The Travelers Championship will payout $1.3 million to the winner as well as 500 FedEx Cup points. River Highlands is a 6,843 yard par 70 with Bentgrass fairways, rough with perennial fescue and Bentgrass greens.

Previous winner Phil Mickelson will tee off for the first time on Thursday since turning 50 and other past champions of the event in this week's field include defending champion Chez Reavie Kevin Streelman, Jordan Spieth, Marc Leishman, Russell Knox, Stewart Cink, Hunter Mahan, and Bubba Watson, who has won the event three times.

The star-studded field will include the world's No. 1 ranked player Rory McIlroy as well as Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, and Patrick Reed. In all, the Travelers Championship will have 15 of the world's top 20 ranked players. Kenny Perry set the tournament record in 2009 at 22 under par, while Jim Furyk in 2016 shot a 58 in the final round but lost and Mickelson shot 61 in 2001 on Saturday.

Justin Thomas finished tied for eighth at -17 in the just completed RBC Heritage. Thomas putted very well in the final round on Sunday and while carding a 63 even though he had a pair of bogies. In the last two tournaments, Thomas has played very well but was unable to walk away with the victory in either one of the two. Thomas is ranked fifth on tour in approaching the green and 12th in greens in regulation and that will help the world’s No. 3 ranked player at River Highlands. Pick: Justin Thomas to win
