2020 RSM Classic - 11/19/20 - PGA Picks, Odds & Betting Predictions

Following the Masters Tournament, many of the top pros on the PGA tour will be taking the week off, while the rest will tee off on Thursday at the RSM Classic at St. Simons Island, Georgia. The field is the strongest in this tournament's history thanks to its proximity to Augusta National making for an easy visit for many of the pros following the end of the Masters on Sunday. Seventeen players teeing off at the RSM Classic are ranked in the top 50 of the world golf rankings.
The defending Champion is Tyler Duncan, who defeated Webb Simpson in a playoff after both had finished the four-rounds at 19-under par last year. Duncan as well as Simpson are both returning for the RSM Classic this season and Simpson (+1000) is the betting favorite. Others that have won the tournament in the past and will tee off on Thursday include Charles Howell, Austin Cook, Mackenzie Hughes and Kevin Kisner.
The RSM Classic is played at Sea Island Resort’ Seaside Course, which is a 7,005-yard par 70 with fairways of Bermudagrass and Platinum paspalum with rough of Bermudagrass. The greens are also Bermudagrass (TifEagle). The course that runs along the seaside is known for being firm and fast and has the tour’s oldest TifEagle greens. The course takes players through lakes and marshlands with marshes or water in play on the majority of holes.

Russell Henley (+2700) continues to play very good golf over the last seven tournaments. Henley has finished in the top 30 in each of the last seven events and has carded top 10 finishes in four of the seven, with a third and fourth place finish in his last three events. In 14 of Henley’s last 15 events he has gained strokes tee-to-green on the field and has been successful at the RSM Classic in previous years, with three consecutive finishes in the top 10 between 2014 and 2016.
