Last Updated: 12/10/2020 at 12:27 PM ET

The PGA tour concludes its 2020 calendar year with the QBE Shootout in Naples, Florida. The event includes 12 two-man teams playing 54 holes of best-ball and will be held at Tiburon Golf Club Gold Course. Kevin Tway and Rory Sabbatini are the defending champions. included in the list of 24 players taking part are the defending champions Tway and Sabbatini as well as Steve Stricker, Tony Finau, Matthew Wolff, Matt Kuchar, Marc Leishman, Kevin Na,  Bubba Watson and Harold Varner III amongst others.

Seven of the 24 players taking part finished in the top 25 off the Masters tournament last month. This will be the 11th time Sabbatini has played in the shootout, while it's the first time that Louis Oosthuizen is taking part. Cameron Champ will team up with Tony Finau, to create a team of two of the longest hitters on the PGA tour. Playing for the first time in the shootout are Joaquin Neimann from Chile and Sebastian Munoz from Colombia, who form the first Latin American team to play in the shootout.

On day one the Scramble format will be used, followed by Modified Alternate Shot on day two and Four-ball on the final day. In the Scramble, each player drives on every hole and the best drive is picked and then each player plays a second shot from where the best drive lays and that process is repeated until completing the hole. In Modified Alternate Shot, each player drives on every hole and one of the two drives is selected.  The player who's drive is not selected then hits the second shot in the two teammates alternate shots until the hole is completed. Four-ball is when each player plays every hole using his own ball and the lowest score on each hole is counted for the team.

2020 QBE Shootout Odds

Matthew Wolff/Abraham Ancer      +500

Tony Finau/Cameron Champ        +600

Bubba Watson/Louis Oosthuizen +600

Marc Leishman/Cameron Smith   +650

Joaquin Niemann/Sebastian Munoz +700

Billy Horschel/Brendon Todd  +850

Matt Kuchar/Harris English      +850

Harold Varner III/Ryan Palmer +1400

While Sebastian Munoz and Joaquin Neimann (+700) are not the most well-known golfers on the PGA tour they seem to be the best fit for this tournament. The formats played during the three-day event require plenty of eagles and birdies to keep pace and Niemann and Munoz are capable of doing that. Munoz is currently tied for 13th in birdie or better average, while Munoz tied for 32nd a season ago. Niemann has finished T-27 or better in  each of his last eight tournaments played. Final Score Prediction, Sebastian Munoz and Joaquin Neimann to win +700
