2020 Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship - PGA Betting Picks, Odds & Predictions

The PGA Tour heads to the Caribbean this week to tee off at the Corales Golf Course in Puntacana, Dominican Republic for the 2020 Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship. This event follows the US Open and therefore a weaker field will be in attendance to tee off on Thursday in the opening round.
This week's event in the Caribbean is the first time the PGA Tour has left the United States since restarting after the Covid pandemic. This will be the fifth time the Corales Golf Club has hosted this event and the third year that a sanctioned PGA Tour event has been played at the club. The course is a long 7,670-yard par 72. However, despite the length previous winners have usually been shorter hitters such as Brice Garnett and Graham McDowell.
The favorite going into the event is Will Zalatoris (+1200) who is coming off a sixth-place finish and the US Open. Zalatoris is a solid ball striker but has had problems in the past with his putter. Following Zalatoris are two Canadians Mackenzie Hughes (+1400) and Corey Conners (+1600). Hughes was second in this event in 2019.
A few of the PGA Tour golfers that are more commonly known that will be in attendance this week in the Dominican Republic are Charles Howell III, Henrik Stenson and Emiliano Grillo. Each of the three has odds of +2500. Stinson and Howell are the two most recognizable names in the entire field but neither one has played that well since the restart.

Luke List (+4000) will be the surprise of the tournament and walk away with the victory in Punta Cana on Sunday. List is a very good ball-striker but has had his problems on the greens. However, List has missed only one cut in his last five starts. Over that same span, List has gained 3.6 Strokes tee to green and in June was victorious on the Korn Ferry Tour at TPC Sawgrass. List can catch fire during a round and go on a run of birdies, and will do that this week leading to a victory. Final Pick, Luke List +4000
