2020 Bermuda Championship 10/29/20 - PGA Picks, Odds & Betting Predictions

The PGA Tour has had a very deep field in each of the last two events including the CJ Cup and the Zozo Championship. However, the same cannot be said about this week's event, the Bermuda Championship at the Port Royal Golf Course. The only player in the top 50 in the world rankings in this event is the defending champion Brendon Todd. The next highest in the rankings participating this week and one of the few recognizable names is Henrik Stenson.
The tournament will feature an estimated 500 spectators per round at the Port Royal Golf Course. Spectators will have protocols to follow including having their temperature checked, wearing face masks when entering and when on the course, social distancing and the required use of hand sanitizer.
Included in the field this week are former major champions including Stewart Cink, Padraig Harrington, Danny Willett and Jason Dufner. Dufner and Harrington competed on this course when it was the host of the Grand Slam of Golf between 2009 and 2014.
The course is a 6,828-yard par 71 with fairways and greens of Bermuda grass. Throughout the year the course is open to the public and is considered the golf Crown Jewel of Bermuda. Several bunkers line most of the fairways and a driver is not the best club to choose on many of the par 4s. The changes in elevation and wind conditions can make this a difficult course to score low.

Although a few of the names are recognizable in the field this week in Bermuda, the vast majority are not well-known to normal golf fans. One of those unknown names is Kristoffer Ventura (+3100), who has posted two top-10 finishes during this new 2020-21 PGA Tour season. Ventura finished T-6 at the Sanderson Farms event while being in the top five at one point during Sunday's final round and finished T-7 at the Safeway Open.
