Group B at the 2020 World Championship is nowhere near as close and even as Group A, but it’s still packed with many talented teams, two of which are widely considered as some of the best challengers that have ever stepped foot

The 2020 World Championship Knockout Stage is right around the corner, which means it’s time for each group (and the four teams within it) to duke things out for a shot at glory.

This is where things get a lot more interesting. On paper, Team Liquid is absolutely the favorite. There’s no doubt about it.

G2 Esports vs. Rogue isn’t exactly the most premier match-up on paper, but in reality, it’ll be far more competitive and entertaining than any of us could’ve expected coming into the second half of 2020.

Right after the LEC el clasico concludes, we’ll be greeted with yet another one, albeit across the Atlantic. Cloud9 and Team SoloMid is a tale as old as time, and it has always managed to deliver, regardless of meta.

What an incredible way to start off the day: the LEC el clasico. Whenever G2 Esports and Fnatic step foot on stage to compete against each other, there’s always a reason to tune in, regardless of line-up or meta.

If you’re having a case of déjà vu, know that you’re not in the minority. TSM and GGS already squared off a week ago, and it wasn’t pretty — at least not if you were a TSM fan.

What a fantastic way to close out the week: a much-awaited clash between the number one team ranked in Summer and a perennial giant of competitive League. What’s not to like? There’s a lot on the line, too.

This is where things get incredibly complicated. We have two teams with entirely different narratives and a good chunk of them have recently been subverted in the most unexpected of ways. On paper, this is an easy Cloud9 win.

The repeat of one of the most exciting and mind-blowing Best of 5s in recent LEC history. Whenever these two teams step foot on stage to compete, there’s always a reason to tune in.

Yet another endlessly entertaining match-up that’s nearly impossible to predict with confidence. That’s sort of been the leitmotif of the 2020 LCS season.
