FunSpark ULTI Europe Finals 4/21/21 -Esports Picks & Predictions
Welcome to the FunSpark ULTI Europe Final! Funspark is a monthly tournament with a prize pool of $250,000! Some of the biggest teams are playing in this tournament! It's a double elimination tournament with an upper and lower bracket.
After 2 days of first round games we made it to the second round. Today we have 2 upper bracket games! Starting at 8am EST we get Complexity (-303) vs ForZe (+222), then after that at around 11:30am EST we get Extra Salt (+165) vs Dignitas (-217).
We start with Complexity and ForZe going at it. Complexity is coming off a 2-0 sweep of HAVU in the first round in dominant fashion winning 16-5 and 16-10. Big performance from k0nfig and RUSH in that game with a 1.46 and 1.30 rating. Complexity getting RUSH involved and successful is always a good sign for this team. Complexity is also coming off a successful ESL Pro League finish 5th-6th in the event. Jks is also starting to fit very well in this team as an A-site anchor. This team is very dangerous and has big potential to go far in this tournament. On the other side we have a Forze team that had many question marks coming into this tournament. After struggling in Snow Sweet Snow (another tournament) in late March and early April and after making roster moves by dropping facecrack and xsepower, and bringing in zorte and KENSI. Many had ForZe making an early exit from this tournament. ForZe proved them wrong and went on to sweep VP who had been playing really well coming into this tournament. Big game from FL1T and zorte with ratings of 1.43 and 1.21 in the series against VP. Looking at this game, it's hard not to take Complexity in this matchup. But, taking them at -303 is not the way to go. I will be taking Complexity -1.5 maps or sweeping the series at +114. By doing this we get a huge favorite at plus money.

The second game of the day is Dignitas taking on Extra Salt. We will start with the South African/NA team of Extra Salt. Extra Salt is coming off a huge upset after they beat BIG in 3 games. BIG has been struggling recently dropping out of the top 10 on the hltv rankings. That being said it doesn't take away the fact that Extra Salt played great against BIG. Sonic and FaNg lead the way for ES against BIG with 1.28 and 1.26 ratings. Extra Salt has been working their way through the NA scene winning 3 of 4 tournaments to start off 2021. Then we get Dignitas. This new Dignitas team has been hitting on all cylinders since signing HEAP. After finishing 2nd in another FunSpark tournament last month then had a solid performance in the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown with a win against Team Liquid and a close series loss vs Spirit. This Swedish team has looked very impressive. Today Dignitas was able to sweep an EG team that was dealing with a late roster change. Hallzerk was the biggest factor in today's win with a rating of 1.75. HEAP and f0rest also had solid games against EG today. For betting in this matchup I will be taking this series to go Over 2.5 maps. I will not be taking sides in this matchup just due to the lines. I will be leaning Dignitas but I don't want to be laying -217 on them.
