Winnipeg Blue Bombers vs. Toronto Argonauts 11/20/22 - CFL Picks & Predictions

The 109th Grey Cup will be played on Sunday November 20 and feature the East Division champion Toronto Argonauts versus the West Division champion Winnipeg Blue Bombers, winners of each of the last two Grey Cups. The Grey Cup will be played at Mosaic Stadium in Saskatchewan.  Toronto will be playing its 24th Grey Cup and is 17-6 while Winnipeg is playing its 27th and is 12-14. This is the seventh meeting in the Grey Cup between the two with Toronto winning each of the previous six.

Toronto reached the CFL championship game by defeating the Montreal Alouettes 34-27 last Sunday. McLeod Bethel-Thompson passed for 299 yards with two touchdowns, while Andrew Harris rushed for 42 yards and one touchdown. The leading receiver for Toronto was DaVaris Daniels with three receptions for 108 yards and one touchdown, while Kurleigh Gittens Jr caught nine passes for 97 yards and one touchdown.

Winnipeg reached the CFL title game by defeating the BC Lions 28-20 to win the West division title. Winnipeg quarterback Zach Collaros passed for 178 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the victory over BC. The leading rusher was Brady Oliveira with 130 yards, while the leading receiver was Nic Demeski with five receptions for 74 yards. Winnipeg intercepted BC twice and had two quarterback sacks.

Toronto was given a big boost in its East Division final versus Montreal with the return of leading running back Andrew Harris, who used to star for Winnipeg. Harris was out with a torn pectoral muscle since August but led Toronto in rushing with 42 yards and one touchdown in the victory over Montreal. Harris led the CFL in rushing three times in five seasons with Winnipeg and gives the Argonauts a big weapon against his former team.

In the only meeting of the regular season between the two Winnipeg defeated Toronto 23-22 in Toronto, but the Argonauts covered the number as 3.5-point home dogs. The Argonauts have an addition to their offensive weaponry thanks to the return of running back Andrew Harris. Winnipeg has won each of the last two Grey Cups but Toronto will end that streak and defeat Winnipeg for the seventh consecutive time in Grey Cups, with a victory on Sunday. Final Score Prediction, Toronto Argonauts win and cover ATS 30-27.
