The Redblacks are coming into this game after getting an uneventful preseason. However, the team is going to be looking to have some improvement on the year. This is definitely true after the last game against the Alouettes ended up being a tie at 20-20 to end the game and that was not the results the Redblacks wanted to have.

Rushing was very weak with Dalton Crossan carrying the ball 7 times for 34 yards in the game. The Stampeders have had a chance to look very impressive in the preseason so far. However, the Stampeders are a team that has had some problems as well and that was definitely present with the recent loss to the Lions to close out the preseason. The loss was only a 2 point loss, but it was definitely disappointing.
In the game the Stampeders rotated their quarterbacks fairly well in the game as Montell Cozart threw for 106 yards, but Nick Arbuckle the star from last year threw the ball for 87 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Stampeders may have found a decent talent in Ka’Deem Carey who carried the ball 7 times for 72 yards.
