The Hamilton Tiger-Cats come into week nine of the CFL season 2-5 overall following a seven point win over Montreal in week eight. Offensively Hamilton had one of their best games of the season compiling 352 total yards of offense including 250 through the air to score 24 points in the game.

Quarterback Dan Evans led the way for Hamilton completing 13 of 18 passes for 206 yards and one score, while Matthew Schiltz went seven of 10 through the air for 44 yards and ran the ball four times for 42 yards as well. Steven Dunbar Jr was the top receiver in the game for Hamilton with 102 yards and one score on five catches.

The Toronto Argonauts come into week 8 sitting at .500 on the year with a 3-3 following a 10 point loss to Ottawa. Defensively Toronto was obliterated as Ottawa compiled 399 total yards of offense to score 23 points in the game. The Toronto offense however countered with 373 yards including 340 yards passing but turn the ball over one time leading to the loss.

McLeod Bethel- Thompson was the offensive leader for Toronto completing 25 of 39 passes for 340 yards and one touchdown. Kurleigh Gittens and Markeith Ambles combined to catch 11 total passes for 168 yards.

Toronto is the better team in this matchup, and it will show from the opening kickoff. Look for Toronto to control this game from the start as they will avenge a bad loss in week eight.
