Blue Bombers at Roughriders 11/11/18 - CFL Picks & Predictions

With the regular season in the books, the time has come for the CFL Playoffs to begin. After finishing the regular season with a 10-8 mark the Winnipeg Blue Bombers travel to Regina to battle the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the First Round of the Playoffs.

Matt Nichols was solid at quarterback for the Blue Bombers this season and threw for 3146 yards, 18 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. With Darvin Adams's (61 receptions, 1,028, 10 touchdowns) status up in the air due to injury receivers like Drew Wolitarsky (45 receptions, 650 yards, 5 touchdowns) will be counted on to contribute for the Blue Bombers. Andrew Harris had another outstanding season for the Blue Bombers running for 1,390 yards and 8 touchdowns and will be the focal point of the offense for the Blue Bombers. Coming out of nowhere to finish 12-6, the Saskatchewan Roughriders are thinking Grey Cup or bust. The Roughriders play host to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the First Round of the CFL's playoffs.

While not as flashy as many of the other quarterbacks in the CFL, Zac Collaros is a solid game manager for the Roughriders and has managed to throw for 2999 yards, 9 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions on the season. Former St. Louis Ram Trey Mason had a breakout season for the Roughriders and ran the ball 160 times for 809 yards and 3 touchdowns and will look to improve upon those numbers against Winnipeg.
