Following a tough lost against Edmonton to open the season the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (0-1) travel to Montreal to battle the Alouettes. Chris Streveler Quarterbacks the Blue Bombers and although he was shaky in his CFL Debut (15 for 23, 178 yards, 3 touchdowns, 2 interceptions) he appears to have what it takes to lead the Blue Bombers until Matt Nichols returns from injury.
Weston Dressler was solid in the season opener and caught 4 passes for 74 yards and 1 touchdown. Darvin Adams contributed to the Blue Bombers cause as well catching 5 passes for 46 yards and 1 touchdown. Running Back Andrew Harris ran the ball 14 times for 77 yards in Winnipeg's season opening loss.
Following a tough opening week loss to B.C. in which they only managed to score 10 points, the Montreal Alouettes (0-1) are hoping for more as they play host to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Drew Willy quarterbacks the Alouettes and managed 287 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception in his 2018 season debut.
Chris Williams was outstanding in Week 1 for Montreal and caught 6 passes for 98 yards. Earnest Jackson also put up solid numbers for the Alouettes and caught 3 passes for 73 yards. Tyrell Sutton was the man on the ground for the Alouettes and ran the ball 15 times for 65 yards.
