Two high powered offenses will be tangling on Thursday when British Columbia plays at Montreal. Both teams are 1-1, and both teams lost close games to Edmonton over the past two weeks. Both of Montreal's games have been close, as the Alouettes won by one point in their season opener. Last week the Lions of BC beat Toronto 28-15.

BC us averaging 396 yards per game, while Montreal is getting a respectable 302 yards per game. BC's Jonathon Jennings has passed for only one touchdown in two games, but he did lead a comeback victory last year. He has passed for 565 yards in two games. Montreal's Darian Durant has passed for 400 over two games and three touchdowns.

Jeremiah Johnson leads the Lions with 162 yards rushing and Tyrell Sutton leads Montreal with 156 yards rushing and both are among the league leaders at this point in the season.
B-C's rushing game may be the key. The Lions lead the league in rushing yards with 227, and in touchdowns rushing with three. The Lions also lead the league in time of possession. Montreal is second in the league in rushing with 205 yards over two games, but have yet to score a rushing touchdown.

While BC has put up some impressive numbers, it has had trouble protecting its quarterback, leading the league in allowing nine sacks so far. Montreal has yet to allow a sack in two games.

Montreal's defense has been salty, leading the league in fewest points allowed at 39. The Lions are not that far behind though, allowing 45 over two games.
