Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder 10/9/21 - Boxing Picks & Predictions

Talk about a fight that is going to be the one heard around the world the third installment of the Wilder vs Fury. The second match between the two fighters seen Wilder getting pushed around in the fight by Fury who won in the 7th round when Mark Breland threw in the towel.

The fight here was in the making since that second fight ended. However, it would take until March of 2020 before Wilder would decide to exercise his option for the third fight. Then thanks to the pandemic it would take until this weekend for the fight to actually be scheduled and ready to go to the ring.

Coming to the fight here for the WBC heavyweight championship Tyson Fury is coming in sitting on a very impressive 30-0-1 record with 21 KOs. With Wilder, the record is almost as impressive sitting at 42-1-1 with 41 KOs.

Coming to the fight Tyson Fury is standing at 6’9” and 273 pounds. When it comes to his reach Fury has an amazing 85 inch wingspan. The Gypsy King in the last match against Wilder did pick up the TKO. In the fight against Otto Wallin in 2019 Fury ended up getting the unanimous decision win. This fight is the first for Fury since 2020.

Deontay Wilder is coming in standing at 6’7” and weighs in at 226 pounds. Wilder does have a reach that is sitting at a little bit less with 83 inches. Prior to losing the bout against Fury, Wilder did pick up a KO win over Luis Ortiz.  Domino Breazeale ended up being another KO victim in 2019 at the hands of Wilder.

Wilder has made some strong accusations this week about cheating. However, Fury has withstood those accusations and seems to have taken the high road with more of the lets let the ring decide. In the previous bouts Fury has been able to outmatch Wilder at almost every single round and has only managed to get better. Look for that luck to continue here as Fury is coming in a little bit angry, but also looking to dominate the fight here and settle all the accusations in the ring. Fight Winner Prediction, Tyson Fury.
