Francis Ngannou vs Jairzinho Rozenstruik 5/9/20 - UFC 249 Picks & Predictions
A heavyweight battle will take place here between a couple of International stars. The battle will be one that is going to have an undefeated Rozenstruik coming into the battle to face Ngannou who has only lost 3 bouts in his career. What else is interesting is the fact that this is one battle that has quite a decent difference in the weight between the two fighters.
Ngannou is heading into the bout standing at 6’4” 258 pounds. He does have an 83” reach and that is very impressive. Francis does have a 14-3 record and is 10-0 in the TKO/KO department. He uses an orthodox stance, but a striker fighting style. The last 5 bouts for Ngannou has seen him go 3-2 and the last 3 were wins. With all of those bouts being decided in the first round by a KO or a TKO.
Bigi Boy is heading into the bout standing at 6’4” and 243 pounds. However, he does not have as good of a reach either with a 78” reach compare to the 83” of his opponent. Rozenstruik does use the same style for fighting and stance as Ngannou. Bigi Boy is 10-0 in his career and 9-0 with the KO/TKO department. The last 5 bouts were all wins and all of those were KO/TKO. The interesting part is 3 of those were finished in the first round.
The bout here is one that has Ngannou heavily favored and it would seem that a lot that stems from his size advantage. However, Bigi Boy is one fighter that has been able to dominate a lot of the bouts he has been involved in and that will definitely make it easier for Bigi Boy to win this bout here. Look for the fight to go past the first round, though, which also favors the slightly smaller fighter. Look for Rozenstruik to fight good in this bout and pull out the win.
