Volkov is a 3^rd dan Black Belt in Tsu Shin Gen. Volkov also carries a brown belt in Kyokushin Karate and a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Volkov has 38 wins and 10 losses as a professional coming into Saturday on a four fight win streak following a decision against Sergei Pavlovich in June of this year. 28 of the 38 wins for Volkov have come via the stoppage with the last being a submission victory against Tai Tuivasa in September of 2023 at UFC 293.
